Kaltxì ayngaru!

Problem is following:

I tried to say to someone:
Calm down, brother, that's not the time to argue
So I've started:
Mawey, ma tsmukan, ke krr...??? ???

And then I've stopped, cause I didn't know how to say that!
I couldn't find argue or argument in dictionary.
It could be not time for arguing but I still can't figure out how to translate it... :-[

That time i have used plltx<äng>e for maybe bad speak as argue but I'm not convinced to this form. And i've dropped for/to.

So, rutxe, ma smukan, ma smuke, how to say that? :(

Kaltxì, ma VathRas.  We don't have a word for "argue" yet, but i've come up with a couple options for you:

Set ke lu krr fte wivem
Set   ke   lu  krr   fte    w<iv>em
Now NEG be time for.to fight<SBJ>
Now is not the time to fight

And, similarly,
Set ke lu krr fte ke mivllte
Now is not the time to disagree (lit. "not agree")

I like the first one better, personally, but your mileage may vary ;)

Irayo, ma smuke,

So, fte is for/to?

And why this weird subjunctive iv is used in this case? ???

Hawnuyu atxen

The <iv> (subjunctive) can make the verb to an infinitive (it has very lots of meanings...)
"Hrrap rä'ä si olo'ur smuktuä." ; "Ke'u ke lu ngay. Frakemit tung." (Assassin's Creed)

Kaltxì, ma 'eylan,

I learned to use fte in this way after seeing this thread here.  The <iv> (Subjunctive) infix gets used for a lot of different things in Na'vi.  I remember seeing an article somewhere that lists the various uses of this infix; i'll try to find it for you, ma tsmukan.

Ma VathRas,

Here is the explanation of the subjunctive, courtesy of wm.annis.  I hope this is helpful.
