it depends on what kind of "ing" you mean.

if you want to create an imperfective (progressive) action you use the infix <er>.
tìran (walk) --> terìran (walking)
oe terìran = I am walking

you can also create an active adjective with the infix <us>.
rol (sing) --> rusol (singing)
yayo arusol = the singing bird

also you can create a gerund using both the infix <us> and the prefix tì-.
nume (learn) --> tìnusume (learning)
ngeyä tìnusume lu sìltsan = your learning is good

well put, I was just on my way to say this. applause. :D

also, you might enjoy the thread that quote comes from (http://forum.learnnavi.org/beginners/(for-beginners)-faq-(please-ask-your-questions-here)/ )

<edit: actually it looks like you have been there before. O.o>

EDIT: also, why do you always put a poll question on every topic you start? just out of curiosity. Polls are for asking a question, giving choices and then tallying the votes.

yes. there are a few of them iirc. I would also like to add one thing. That is when you use gerunds, it translates using fwa or futa or one of those.

I like hunting hexapedes
oeru sunu fwa taron ayyerikit.  ((not *tìtusaron ayyerikit.))

and such is the case with X verbs verbing Y type of stuff.
