How does one say "linguist"?

Never seen Paul say lì'fyaä (only lì'fyayä)... but then again... soaiä, omatikayaä(both canon)... I personally use "lì'fyayä".

Mllte. Lì'fyayä seems correct, and I don't like lì'fyä or lì'fyaä :-\

Ah that was my typo rather than an intent, yes we have seen it as lì'fyayä in the past.
