How to use "sran"
« on: October 28, 2019, 06:48:28 pm »
I know "sran" is colloquial for "srane", yeah, to yes...
But what about "sure!, I will!, No problem! ?? Kinda like in Japanese, where "Hai!" is a general affirmative...
"Srane" being "yes"
And
"Sran" being more informal...yeah, sure, etc...
Would "Sran" be used similar to "Sure!" Or is there another better term??

Depending on the situation, you could also use different expressions or words. While sran(e) works in most situations, you could use different replies to different things to mix stuff up a bit and keep it interesting and more lively.

Let's say someone asks you to do something and you respond in a slight over-exaggerated way "sure! will do! aye!", you can use "sasya!" ("I'm going to rise to the challenge! I'll do it!").
There's also "nìlun" ("of course") or other idiomatic expressions one could use in a multitude of situations. "li, slä..." ("yeah, well, sure, but...") or "fpivìl" ("hmm... let me think...") saylahe.
