Na'vi has a set of variable clause markers that change depending on the content being discussed.

  The teyngta family is required for question clauses. = "the answer to the question _____"

  The ayluta family is required for indirect quotation of speech. = "the words that _____"

  The fmawnta family is for general information. = "the news that ______"

  The futa family is for the broadest/most general category of verbs and contexts. "that ____"
