'it' in Na'vi

What is 'it' in na'vi?  Can I just use 'po'?

Since an ikran is an animate being, you can use po, I'm pretty sure.

But for a non-living thing, you use tsa.  ("For inanimate 'it' you shouldn't use po but rather tsa", Canon).

On a semi-related topic, can I omit the pronoun entirely (I read something about this here) and shorten this to

oel yerikit taron, ulte ean lu

or would this be ambiguous, since it could be me who is blue rather than the Hexapede..?

That's an interesting question.  Na'vi is pro-drop for subject pronouns (i.e., don't repeat the subject when it's clear): http://forum.learnnavi.org/language-updates/subject-pronoun-pro-drop/.  In some languages, you can use a different conjunction to indicate that your subject has switched to the last mentioned thing, but right now we have no evidence Na'vi might do this, or how.  I'd probably not drop the pronoun here.
