Makto?

I just noticed this. Neytiri says her "grandfather's grandfather was Toruk Makto, rider of last shadow." But if it's rider, then wouldn't you say "toruk maktoyu"? Just a thought.

At the end i think it became agreed that this is just a special title.
In na'vi "rider of last shadow" should -correctly- be "torukä maktoyu"

My wholly uneducated guess is that his official title "back in the day" was something like "He rides the Last Shadow," but over time the little grammar tidbits got dropped.  It seems to happen in real languages, so, i'm good with it.

That's a nice way to settle this, than it just lost pol and a -it from "pol makto torukit".
Than came the sawtute and they couldn't translate it properly, so it became "rider of last shadow"

original story behind this being incorrect: James Cameron had this expression in his mind, and he didn't want to change it... i have to agree with him, it sounds better, than "torukä maktoyu"
