I'd say sunu oeru tìmusakto or oeru sunu fwa makto.

How would that be? Beacause to me it seams wrong to say oeru sunu makto. It just seams wrong  :P

You are correct!  Congratulations on your Na'vi linguistic intuition developing. :)

The problem here is makto is already a verb, so it cannot be the subject of yet another verb — sunu in this example.  So, we have to get the idea of makto into a noun.  There are two ways to handle this.  First, we can use the gerund, musakto, "riding" and get:

Oeru sunu tìmusakto I like riding.

If we want to say something more complex, like "I like riding ikran" then you can no longer use the gerund.  This is because, since a gerund is a noun, it cannot have a subject or direct object (the ikran).  So, we have to turn an entire phrase into a noun, which we do by attaching it to fì'u with a (which contracts to fwa when it comes before the phrase).  So:

Oeru sunu fwa (oel) makto ikranit I like to ride an ikran (or, a bit more literally, "I like that (I) ride an ikran")

This clears up two nagging questions about gerunds-- why they cannot take arguments, and that using fì`u doesn't allow attaching an argument to a gerund, but rather replaces the gerund with another kind of sentence structure.

I agree with Wm.Annis

and by the way ma Neyn'ite Ateyo, the shot in the signature reminds of Beyda'amo from the Avatar video game (and I know it doesn't really make sense that that's him)
