pxay vs. txan

I'd like to find difference between "pxay" and "txan". First I thought that thay differs in countability, but that's probably not completely true, as "txan" has meaning of both much and many.
As I understand, "txan" can be used for both countable and uncountable nouns, like "txana swizaw vs. txana krr", whose count is finite.
"Pxay" on the other hand has meaning of very big amount, infinite.

Am I right or wrong?

pxay is for countable things (like "many" in English)
txan is for uncountable things (like "much" in English)

Your example *txana swizaw is incorrect - it should be pxaya swizaw.

Looks like we have two words for countables, and one of them is also for uncountables

"Many" here is really a mistake as it defines pxay and not txan.  I'll notify those taking care of the dictionary....
