Hey I've been searching all over for "woke up", but all I find is Txen "awake" a noun... can I verbify this noun by saying

Oe txen sami
Oe txen s<am>i
I woke up

or do I reflect this upon myself?

Oe txen säpami
Oe txen s<äp><am>i
I made myself awake

or am I totally wrong?

Kemaweyan

We already sent this word to Pawl. Hope it will be confirmed soon...

I could've sworn it was tìtxen si. We already have a case of it in the canon.

Kemaweyan

Hmm.. but why we still have not official confirmation?

If "eltur tìtxen si" officially exists, then how can "tìtxen si" not exist? ???

Kemaweyan

I mean txen si. If I remember it right, we sent this word... Hufwa oe mllte ngahu, tìtxen si is better...

I don't know why we don't just use tìtxen si. (Though I have also seen people try to say txen slu)

EDIT: maybe you're right. Maybe by some unknown reason, it turns out that tìtxen si only exists in the "to be interesting" idiom, and txen si turns out to be legit. who knows what could happen, really O__O ???

Kemaweyan

Tse.. do we have any examples of tì-root si instead of just root si? Maybe it's possible, but I don't remember right now...

Nìkeftxo I can't search in the dictionary by regular expression "tì.*?\b si" :(

tì'awm si comes off the top of my head.

EDIT: we also have tìftang si, tìhawnu si, (tìkangkem si only half counts), tìkxey si(close to tì-kxeyey si), and tìsraw si.

;D HRH well, you can with this file on your system: http://tirea.skxawng.lu/source/naviwords.txt

Kemaweyan

Oh, srane. I found these:

Quotetì'awm si
tìkangkem si
tìsraw si
tìkxey si
eltur tìtxen si
tìhawnu si
tìftang si

Ngian grep unfortunately does not understand lasy expressions :( grep "tì.*?\b si" naviwords.txt returns nothing. But grep "tì.*\b si" naviwords.txt returns the list I wrote above :) Irayo. So tì-root si is possible and then tìtxen si could be general verb, not idiom only...

Oe lamu skxawng.. I'm lazy and didn't want to remember the words :) That's oblivious nìtxan! ;D

by the way, that file, being part of Vrrtep is constantly updated ;)

I had a need for "wake up" too, and txen si was found as not correct, txen slu is better (source here)

But of course that is SM's money, not PF's word. ;)
