I want help translating these phrases. or simplifying them if needed pretty please. Im writing werewolf short stories.


phrase bit 1: I am the wolf. 2: Are you a wolf? 3: Join my pack. 4: Are you mated? 5: I am mated. 6: Full moon. 7: She-wolf/ or The Great Mother Wolf. 8: Are you in a pack? 9:  I am Leader. 10: You are Beta (or whatever could stand for that. possibly lesser) 11: Forest Run. 12: Day hunt. (& night hunt). 13: Human meat. (deer meat. wolf flesh or meat.). 14: Outside. (Inside too). 15. Gifted. 16: Wolf Spirit (Wolf Spirited).


If anybody could translate all these for me it would be greatful. Please? ill post more i want to know eventually after these are done.

It would be better to say us full sentences, translating phrases without knowing context can be inaccurate or even wrong. Here's my proposals:

1: Oe lu nantang/wolfì (on Earth we use nantang for wolf and similar creatures. I've seen also wolfì (not official word) - select what is better for you)
2: Srake nga lu nantang/wolfì?
3: Do you mean something like: Join my clan? It's: 'awstengeym oeyä olo'it
4: Srake nga lu muntxa?
5: Oe lu muntxa.
6: We have no word for moon; I'd use: teya tsawke txonä (full sun of the night)
7: Nawma Sa'nok aywolfìyä (The Great Mother of Wolfs)
8: If you mean Are you clan member, then:  Srake nga lu olo'ä hapxìtu? Or Nga lu hapxìtu peolo'ä? (What clan are you member of?)
9:  Oe lu olo'eyktan
*10: You are Beta (don't understanf what exactly you want to say... Can you say more?)
11: tìtusul mì na'rìng (run in the forest)
12: taron mì srr, taron mì ton (hunt in the day, in the night)
13: tsngan tuteyä, tsngan yerikä, tsngan wolfìyä
14: wrrpa (outside), mìfa (Inside)
15. If you mean "talented" than probably fnan (be good at), He is gifted student ~ Pol fnan tìnusumet/tìftiat (He is good at learning/study)
16: tirea wolfìyä (spirit of the wolf)

n number 10: In a wolf pack, there is a hierarchical ranking of the members, for each sex. The top-ranked pair bonds, and they are the 'alpha male/female', with alpha a reference to the Greek alphabet. This most folks know. The second-ranked pair is often referred to by the Greek 'beta'. Thus they would be the 'beta male/female'. Although certainly possible, I have not seen Greek letters used for pairs that rank below the top two pairs.

Thus 'you are Beta' would mean you are in second place in the hierarchy. thus something like Nga lu eyktan amuve might be appropriate. Nga lu po/poan/poe amuve might work if you want to refer to someone individually. Na'vi does not really have a word yet that means 'couple', 'pair', etc. , so if the refernce is to the Beta pair, this would be harder to say. Nga lu mefo amuve might work in a pinch, when used in proper context.

Well, thanks for explanation, ma 'Eylan. Nga lu eyktan amuve looks well, while other two proposals sound at least strange (you are the second he/she). I prefer the first one.
