It's tsam, you might've seen it as part of tsamsiyu (warrior). It's all in the dictionary :)

Syulang

oh, Irayo. its going to be a continuation of the scene of Jake and Neytiri at the Tree of Souls the 'txon eo the tsam'  ;D  :P

if you're missing a word you can look in the dictionary you know.
anyway, what happened in the movie is one battle, not a long war (at least that's what is in the movie). so, I wouldn't use tsam here. I'd use tìwem (battle).

Well, in the soundtrack they use the word "war" to describe those events, so perhaps it wouldn't be that wrong to use tsam, if one prefers to use official words. :)

Not to me, if the intended meaning is temporal (which I suspect it is) -- that would be txon a sre sam.

Like äo/io/uo, eo should only be used to express location, according to this list. For time, use sre (note that it's ADP+, so: sre sam, not sre tsam).

herp derp....

eo means before, but only in the sense of "IN FRONT OF", a location in relation to another object. You definitely do want sre in this case.

sre means before (as in a time earlier than some other time)

Txon a sre sam is what you would have wanted.

Syulang

ok, so i have renamed it 'Txon a Sre Tsam'  ;D

This is also a reminder that anyone with an iPhone can download the Na'vi dictionary for free. It updates every once in a while as well. I was looking through the dictionary and indeed the word for 'war' is tsam.  :D
