In the Avatar movie they use a word that sounds like "Maktoko", which seems to mean ride out or let's ride... But the language books use the word: "Kamaktao" for that meaning. So what then is this word? Does it mean the same? Or different? Is this a different meaning or word / word combination? Can some one PLEASE tell me what it means and how it it is supposed to be written / pronounced?

Als a phrase they use in the movie sounds like "Ski Va'a" Seems to mean run or get out or something" But I can not find it anywhere or any similar words in the language books. Can someone PLEASE tell me what it means and how it is supposed to be written / pronounced???

PLEASE email your responses to me at: [email protected] as I'd like to know asap. and can not check the board during the day...

Kämakto means 'ride out'
Makto ko means 'lets ride'
skiva'a means 'destroy' ... ska'a with the subjunctive infix.

Which language books are you talking about?
