opposite (from), across from, facing from the other side (adp.)

We already asked for this adpositional sense, but the other three from this set have been added.

be utterly disappointed, "lose heart", ガッカリする (psychomime si-construct), "give up hope" (V intrans. or si construction?)

All of this set added, except for the generic tool, which had already been asked for.

Quote from: whipback on April 30, 2010, 04:36:12 PMSo what is a guesstimate as to the amount of words Na'vi will have if Karyu Pawl completes all of the words from the A, B, and C list?

Just shy of 2000.

No, no, 1000 pre-exisiting (film, game) + 1000 from us (however many of these he feels it is appropriate to create).

I'm pretty sure this hasn't been requested, so how about a word for "say"? As in "he said he wanted to come with us." I always used plltxe for this, but speak and say are two different things.

kewnya txamew'itan

I think it's covered by plltxe san or peng.

`Eylan Ayfalulukanä

Now that there are approximately 1,000 new words suggested, maybe it is time to lock this thread, and start a new 'D list' or 'future LEP list.

'eylan na'viyä

yeah,  i think that would be important. So if someone has a good idea, it wont be forgotten until the (hopefully existing) next LEP.
