Is there anyone here good enough with photoshop to take a picture of someone and do a split image picture? Such as half original human face, half Na'vi face? Not looking for perfection, since the image will be so small, and i doubt i would be the only one interested. They would make awesome forum avatars.

I'm not half bad at photoshop, and I've been toying around with a pretty close idea on a few of my own pictures. If I get anything really good I'll throw 'em up on the board, yeah?

I think I might be good enough, but I'm in the middle of exams atm (university...yeah...:/)
I've done some photoshopping, and turning someone into a na'vi doesn't look too difficult. When/if I have some free time, I'll try to turn myself or my sister or something into a Na'vi, and you guys can rate, mkay?

Here's my proposal: I'll start at it tonight, after a day of studying, and if it's no good, I'll let all of you know as soon as possible. If I think it works, I'll show you the result, and if you approve, well... let the profile pictures stream in :p

2 hours work
it's the best I can do on such short notice, I had to be ready with something fast.
I might be able to deliver better work, now that I have an idea of the color balance and such.

the hair will need some work, just like the size of the eyes
it's still too human, I know.
It's a rough draft.

wow, really nice! Just add in a few bio-luminescence markings and perhaps an ear poking out just a hair and that would be excellent.

You don't need me anymore.

The markings are quite easy, if you're working with photoshop, too.

New layer.
Add white dots in symmetrical patterns.
now use the blur tool on them until they're almost invisible,
then add an inner & outer glow. Don't make it too obvious
