It is possible to view as guest any member profile?! Normally that isn't possible...

Don't know if this is the case here, but I've worked with other forums software before (so I don't know this one) and there it happened, that bots/guests tried to access a user profile, but got the message, that they're not allowed to view this and other restricted content. In the "who is online" lists this was shown as "guest/bot is viewing XYZ's profile", although he for sure couldn't see its content.
Maybe this explains it, if this is the case here, which I'm guessing. :)

This does indeed look like it is the situation you describe.

The forum option to NOT reveal contact info to guests is selected in the configuration.

I have just tried to reconstruct it:
I'm logged in via Fire Fox in this forum.
If I want to access via Internet Explorer on a member, I get the usual message that I should sign up. (Note: I don't have an access via IE on this forum)
At the same time I looked at "who's online": (in Fire Fox)
It states: "Viewing the board index of Learn Na'vi Community." at the guest -> so it is normally not possible.

Do I have do a mistake with my test? :-\ :-\

Nope, this isn't possible. Guests get an error message -- no information is shown to them. The logging system still shows the activity as "viewing a member's profile" though.

Tìtstewan

That's good, because I thought that would be a 'security issue' or so... :-X
