When I started posting in here, I sometimes posted also in the spam-section. Actually it's quite a lot of fun, but now I'm not interested in it anymore. But there's one special thread (I don't want to say it's name ;D ) that I always have in my list of unread replies, and it's starting to annoy me. I'd really love to "un-notify" this topic. So that I don't always get a message that someone has posted something new in there. Is there a way on this website to "get rid of such threads"? ;D

Thank you for your replies in advance. ;D

Click the Profile tab, see "Notices and Emails" under "Modify Profile"...

Irayo ma Markì, but do I understand it correctly that I can only turn off every notification? I'd like to unnotify only a few threads and not every thread... Or did I get something wrong now? ...  :-\

You should be able to click specific topics or boards to unsubscribe notifications from.

No, I'm not. Seems as if one could choose only topics in which one has clicked the notify-button. But I get notifications from these topics because I once posted in them.... :(  These aren't listed there, kefyak?

You shouldn't be getting notifications unless you asked for them.  Just posting in a topic shouldn't do that.

So, there's this section up on top:

http://forum.learnnavi.org/unread/[/url]]Show unread posts since last visit.
Show new replies to your posts.
Total time logged in: 222 days, 2 hours and 34 minutes.

The first one shows all unread posts, regardless of your participation. The second one lists all threads (in which you've posted) that have new replies. There's no way to "unsubscribe" from either of those.

Other than that, you're not subscribed to any topics/threads.

maybe this could theoretically help.

unfortunately it doesn't work with the version of the forum.

If the forum will be updated some day this might be an useful thing to add.
i know, only when an update really makes sense. never touch a running system ;)
