There are literally hundreds of accounts on the wiki. I am guessing a bunch of those are stale and petrified. Without knowing a lot about wikis, I am wondering if the list should be pruned or left alone?

Hi,
I suspect 10-15% were created by some sort of spam bots.

I took the liberty to touch up the rewrite, URI like http://wiki.learnnavi.org/Canon/2012/July-December should work again. :)

So you saw that last gasp of my attempt to fix it at 1:30am last night.  Embarrassing!

(You rock, BTW... Have a karma!)

Well done, ma okristi! (man, I like your Na'vi-Moai :D)

I just notice, that on the FAQ page of the LN Wiki are some links are outdated.
So, I just ask if someone could change it, or maybe anyone could create me an account for that wiki?

Already done. :)

Is there any major downside to keeping all the accounts? I'd say prune if there are any issues with having them all. I'm willing to bet only around 10 of them are possibly active.

Toruk Makto

I dunno, unless it is some sort of a security risk. It's not a huge deal, I am just being my normal housekeeping kind of self. ;)

I just edited that. I am unable to create accounts, though. I guess server admin does it.

Tìtstewan

Haha awesome, I was online there and I was correcting that links!

Edit
+1 to okrìsti :D

is it possible just disable it (so it can't log in)? User of active account will complain, fake account remain disabled, so can't be misused.

I will defer to the wiki gurus on here...

Is there any way of seeing how long an account has been inactive? If an account has not been touched for, say two years, I bet it won't be touched again. And if this person does return, they can create a new account, and not really lose anything they did previously, due to the nature of wikis.

I don't think there is a big security issue with used accounts, but I think it is good practice to keep down 'server bloat'.

There are accounts that have never made any edits...

If the account have something like "Last activity: DD MM, YY"...

Tse, ma fropo,

I was so free to update the Canon 2013 pages...
The last entry was on January (!!!)... *facepalm*

BTW, I lost my mouse, while I've wrote there...it was too much in use. :o

Ma Tìtstewan, Don't be so hard on your mouse! It never did anything to hurt you!  :D

I like the idea of deleting accounts that have been around for (fill in the blank), that have never made an edit. I bet no one will miss those.

I need to get back to work on 'The Lion King'!

Nice work! I was wondering, why there aren't any new records. I see a few small typos, I'll try to repair them during weekend.

It's faster to repair it than find and summarize. Done.
BTW, inside of some lines there are colons, which displays, while colons at the beginning of line do not display. what formatting is it? I'm afraid I forgot how it works in wiki....

If you write colons first, it do an indentation:

QuoteText
:Text
       Text
::Text
              Text

I hope you don't broke some formattings?

no. But I see some colons inside text (not at beginning of line, but on the beginning of words), what is probably mistake
