Are the bandwidth stats accurate? Cause ~100GB / month isn't that much. I remember hearing something about that this site used up 50GB a day

That's just the http traffic. DB backups and other stuff add bw that doesn't show on webalizer.

it kinda looks like the site is getting less "spit and shine" as the months pass farther and farther from dec. 18. even the special edition of avatar didn't do much.

That's to be expected. Many, if not most, of the folks here now are either hard core Avatarii or learning the language. All are welcome though!

I think it's sad that so much less people visit the forum now - but at the same time, as you say, it was probably to be expected. I think the community will always remain lively and active, though

The thing is that it isn't unique hits, Webalizer tracks every hit on every file on every page refresh, so that might be several requests per page your loading on the forum. If it also tracks HEAD requests (the ones that doesn't send anything but the header to make sure that nothing has changed (I'm not sure if it does that)), you will probably have over 20 hits per page you're visiting on the forum.
