As a precaution, I have it uploaded to a gallery folder, the guests has no access.

Unfortunately the most visitors online number isn't correct. That was a blast from a bunch of Chinese search engines and were not actual users. However, the December record might be legitimate. I'll ask Toruk Makto (Markì) about that.

Just a note that I made a configuration change today that will affect the "page views" stat. With the default config we have been using until now, each display of an uploaded avatar on a page was counted as a page hit. That is because the SMF default is to treat avatars as an attachment, which forces a php eval to display each avatar on a page. The change I made now has the avatars loaded as images which eliminates the php hit and greatly enhances efficiency. But it will affect the page hit number, so you will probably notice it will go way down.
