I've dealt with my share of shared object library problems in Linux. I'm sure FreeBSD is nearly the same. I do not envy you, Marki. But thanks for getting ti fixed.

I, too seemed to be at a loss without it!

1. Go to LearnNavi, Unable to connect to the server... :(

2. Alright, I got some work to do, but I need some validation results from MS -> Unable to connect to login.live.com....

3. Goes to facebook, no connection to the static servers => fail.

FFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUU-

(It's all solved now)

Facebook was failing for me the last days from time to time. The login server broke the connection o0

Well, the thing is that all Telia customers had these troubles today. Random sites have been unaccessible due to DNS problems.

Yay!  I got up at 5:00 and got the error message and didn't know what to do after that. ::)

Maintaining some servers myself I know these kinds of problems. It would've been great though, if there had been some headups on Twitter.

Oh wow. I don't use Twitter, so I didn't even think about that.  :-[

I will keep it in mind next time (hoping there ISN'T a next time, but you never know...)   :)

Well, it was the only means of realtime communication remaining explicitly marked as LearnNavi (there's a LearnNavi account on Twitter)

I think Payoang controls that account.  He has also been unreachable today, probably studying for end of term exams.  We probably could benefit from some sort of disaster recovery plan, mainly how to get information out to everyone if the server decides to go lekye'ung...

...'cause LN means everything to some of us, and may even be the #1 resource for the Na'vi language, as a LOT of the learning resources might not (yet) exist on the main site.

*is glad po missed the incident :)*
