Server trouble on 12/9/10

We had some technical difficulties on Thursday, 12/9/10, that had the entire site down for a bit. Oeru txoa livu for the inconvenience, but I think we are back up and running normally again now. If you find something not working that used to, please let me know!

 This is a hoot! The server load spiked almost immediately when we came back online. Lots of people needing their LearnNavi!

Software issue. There was a shared object library problem that had several processes on the blink. Took a little fiddling with it, but I think I have everything happy again.

Not a linux user...so I had to google "shared object library". Apparently they're the linux equivalent of DLLs.  The 3 servers I admin'd in the past were all Windows based...
