The LearnNavi server will be unavailable for about 30 minutes at some point between 2:00pm and 4:00pm CST(US) today for cpu and memory addition.  This will bring us up to 12 CPU cores @ 3.1GHz and up to 32GB of ram.

Yep, that was me. Upgrades are complete and we are back to normal, just a bit faster.  ;)

Nice!  That should help the front end during peak loads.   :)

How are the drives for speed?  7.2K? 10K? 15K?

Right now we have 2TB in a raid 1, 7.2K, SATA II.  Sometime next year those will be upgraded to 2TB SAS 6Gb/s RAID 10. I have to find a Tyan midplane board that can handle the speed, first.
