I used to update that page but since then, Tìtstewan has updated the layout of the page and maintains content there. I'll remind him of this update next time I see him around if he doesn't read this thread first. :)

Thanks, Titstewan, this looks great! (Except the ɪ's in the OPA for "tswìk kxenerit" aren't showing up right.)

Tìtstewan

I just fixed it. Not sure why that happen since I'm using UTF-8, weird.

Based on these two examples:
Ngeyä aylì'ul akxapnga' txopu ke sleyku oet kaw'it. -> Your threatening words don't scare me one bit. (source)
'Uol ikranit txopu sleykolatsu, taluna po tsìk yawo. -> Something must have frightened the banshee, because it suddenly took to the air. (source)

I think that txopu sleyku (vtr.) = scare/frighten sb. would deserve it's own entry in our dictionary. I'm wondering why it is missing.

That has not been suggested by Paul as a unique entry and I am hesitant to begin adding such constructs.  Given both words are fairly straightforward with uncomplicated definitions, I don't think a separate entry to combine them is warranted. We already have the adjective txewm, 'frightening'. Although si forms are .vin of course, perhaps something derived from that for a .vtr word could be suggested to the LEP?

And is it here. Seems you asked my question too and Paul answered to both of us.

this post at Tos publishes several new Na'vi person names. As they come from official source (Lightstorm ), should we add them to dictionary?

pamuvan (n., PAM.u.van) 'sound play'

paytxew (n., pay.TXEW) 'shoreline, water's edge'

edit: Please notice that K.Pawl changed the stress of paytxew on Oct 09.

Kaltxi!  :)

I would like to clarify something.

I tried updating the Estonian translation today with the vurway and pamuvan (from the naviteri blog post from October), but I get a compilation error. Checking out the official English version from the original post, I get the Na'vi English dictionary from 12th July. Needless to say, neither vurway nor pamuvan exist in that PDF, so it seems to me that it's a cached document.

Oey tipawm lu: Is there currently a problem with the eanaeltu and the official dictionary and my translation compilation is failing because of that OR is it just something wrong with the Estonian translation?

Dictionary compilation errors were addressed at AvatarMeet. The issue is being investigated :)
