This word Hälowin was first mentioned on Na'viteri back on October 30 2011 and again on October 31 2012

I think it wasn't listed in the dict because it was an obvious loan word? Any word can be loaned once it has been converted to comply with syllable rules and phonetics.

Though I suppose since Giraffe is in Eana Eltu, We could just continue to put every single loan word Pawl has ever used in there as if we couldn't just do the same thing ourselves o.o

Just came to my attention:
IPA bugs:

tswìk kxenerit (missing \textcorner, ì in IPA instead of "I"-hack, R.ìt should be .Rit)
ngrrpongu (missing \textprimstress)
tìftiatu kifkeyä (missing syllable boundary; should be fti\textprimstress .a, ì in IPA should be i in the kifkeyä part, capitalized J characters should just be j, also it's not kifkeyyä so it should be Ej.æ)

I've put in these fixes, did not create/compile.

Irayo ma Txawey!

EDIT: Which is more consistently our convention?
* \textprimstress .a. (stress marker before the syllable boundary dot)
* .\textprimstress a. (stress marker just after the syllable boundary dot)

I wanna say the first one..

Noticed that the IPA didn't match words for season words, zìskrr.*

Changes put in for:
zìskrrmipaw [zI.sI.k\textsyllabic{r}.\textprimstress mi.paw] --> [zI.sk\textsyllabic{r}.\textprimstress mi.paw]
zìskrrsom [zI.sI.k\textsyllabic{r}.\textprimstress som] --> [zI.sk\textsyllabic{r}.\textprimstress som]
zìskrrtsawn [zI.sI.k\textsyllabic{r}.\textprimstress \t{ts}awn] --> [zI.sk\textsyllabic{r}.\textprimstress \t{ts}awn]
zìskrrwew [zI.sI.k\textsyllabic{r}.\textprimstress wEw] --> [zI.sk\textsyllabic{r}.\textprimstress wEw]

(all: .sI.k --> .sk)

Saved, but did not Create changes.

usage of «» instead of «'» can be seen in at least one field for exactly only 11 entries. For consistency's sake, it would be good to swap these «» chars out for «'» so that all entries use «'».

irayo :)

The reason I bring this up is, fwew relies on this data, and this inconsistency has caused fwew to fail to find a queried entry due to expecting to find apos but found smart quote instead.

So ma Toruk Makto, should I put in this fix too?  Also, when should we release a new version? These minor edits have started to kinda stack up.

Is that the glottal stop character you are talking about? If so, what is the unicode for the 'correct' glottal stop character?

I don't think that Paul has declared an official Unicode for it. I'm fairly certain that he's just been using the
[['  "]] key on a standard keyboard.

WordPress and MS Word are known to replace these characters with their smart quote equivalents (that is, //, //, //, and // ) and iOS has made it convenient to use these smart quote versions by default, requiring additional work to type out those normal ones that a standard keyboard could with one keystroke.

Yes please. Not sure how those got mixed up.
On it. 8)

EDIT: Done. None of the changes since Nov 8 have been published. Should I create these into 13.10?

Two more instances of weird IPA: tìftiatu kifkeyä (has double y in there - interestingly enough tìftia kifkeyä seems to be fine) and tswìk kxenerit (has ì instead of i).

Works. You can do it whenever you think is best. I've been purposely holding off compilation/creation :)

Another one: the IPA for zenke misses the second infix dot (should be after the ŋ, right?)
Sorry for spamming this thread ;)

zenke is a bit difficult because of position 2.

For only two pos-2 infixes (ats, uy), the /ŋ/ becomes just an /n/ and the /ɛ/ comes back, in front of which goes the infix.

How should we handle this? Because if there is no 2nd position infix used, then it looks how it does already. If ei or äng for example is used, then indeed the dot would just go right there, but the /ŋ/ becomes /n/. And then the case above. Do we need 3 different IPAs for zenke? :O If so, how do we make it clear which one happens when?
