Just a quick question about who the moderators / administrators are on this forum?

Also what does it take to become a mod / admin?

Sorry if this is posted in the incorrect section

I am a moderator, of the global variety. See our colored stars and fancy-pants signatures and tremble!

as for becoming a mod, that is a process that is shrouded in secrecy and full of mystery ... oOOoo

It requires a funnel, some cement bricks and a 5 story building. I will not go into any further detail.

Those jokers :P

Moderators are invite only, you can ask but it probably won't get you anywhere. Though, by all means suggest areas that could use more moderation, such as the language forums for instance are one area where we're filling in some moderation gaps. If you are serious about becoming a mod then be active in the forums, become noticed, and be helpful. If we find a spot that needs to be filled we'll ask whoever we best think can fill that spot.

If you do get asked, bring a cup  :o :P

I could honestly never understand why there are "global" mods. I think everyone should be that if they are a mod. This way, if something goes wrong any mod can fix it.

It's the same thing as having a sub-admin  ;D
Is this right? I just write whatever in the signature box?

I can edit everything, but because I'm not a global mod, I don't.
