Life drags us all in different directions. I am delighted to see the site is up, strong, and experiencing explosive growth with the ("it's about time!") rerelease (this Friday?) of Avatar with the forthcoming "sequel." Is it true we are getting three movies? I must admit I gave up hope around five years ago. I take forever to finish a book, so I can hardly complain about James Cameron taking forever to get these next films right.

Since I finished The Easiest Way to Learn Na'vi—EVER!! and the Radio Avatar podcast, I have been fortunate enough to write a few books, but I lament that we never got traction to make fun activity books for adults on the Na'vi culture, philosophy, and language. Now that Disney has bought FOX, I expect we will be swamped with books and games, toys and merchandise, and even a few television series. I hope the mouse doesn't screw it up.

But that is a worry for another post. I am eager to get back to discussing the Na'vi, the activist book, the (now "old") and new movies. It might even be fun to get together a new crew and make a fun and funny podcast again. If you remember me, or any of us, please do reply. And if you are new and wants to say hi, please reply. It would be great hearing from you. As one of the old guard, I am eager to see familiar faces, and even more so excited to meet the new fans of the movies. I am most excited however to engage with the most dedicated believers in our blue kitty friends. There is so much room in this sandbox, and I would like us all to shine.

There are indeed 4 new films planned, but only 2 and 3 are approved at the moment. 4 and 5 are conditional on 2 and 3's performance.

Hello again! It is great to see you! (I won't even attempt to embarrass myself with my poor grammar after Paul embarrassed me, but that is old news.) Anyway, Yay for four new films! I have tickets for Friday: 5 p.m. matinee that says it is 3D (so $17), and then again at 8:30 pm at the same megaplex; non-3D but $16. I guess I will be getting glasses? In any case, I am happy too toss $33 toward the opening day sales total (not including popcorn and "nutritious beverages").

I miss being in California, and would have happily driven down from Santa Cruz to go to the Cinerama Dome. Where are you planning on seeing it? I am just at a surprisingly high-tech Regal, with fully reclining electric seats. Wow, this truly is thee cyber-security capital of the world. WTH S.V.?

Oh hell yes TM! It is great to see you. I hope I don't screw this up, but do you still have your license plate? I remember the confusion about what people in Texas would think it meant. Please pardon me if I have mistaken Toruk for another. I distinctly remember the old times. I just have to get my bearings.

I "do" remember you! It's just a bit fuzzy, because I have had my head buried in metaphysical books for the past ten years (I have to pay the rent somehow!). I need to reacquaint myself! I see you have shot up in karma. You must have been busy around here. I am glad you stayed, and are here for the Renaissance! We need to reform old friendships and develop longstanding new ones, but there will be time enough for that, now that JC is back in town. I am eager to see what everyone is doing with their lives, and what interesting (Avatar and non-Avatar projects people are working on to bring value to their lives and the world. I have much to share, but it can all wait. I am more interested in what you guys are doing.
