Bodysuit colours

Ok, I have a Con in about two weeks and I am volunteering. Unfortunately, you are not aloud to volunteer in costume so I have to change into my Na'vi costume quickly. I've decided to do a bodysuit since fullbody makeup will take...well forever.

I'll prestripe the suit then makeup my face hands and feet there. What colour do you think is best?

It looks to me like these could be a bit too shiny, so you might want to paint over the whole thing in a light blue color before doing the stripes. But I hope the base color works out as-is. It's a tough choice but I'd go with the last one even though it's a bit on the light side, the rest seem a bit too dark (or too bright and vivid in the case of the second one).

One thing you might check out regarding the shininess, is what the suit looks like inside out. Sometimes the inside is a little more matte finish.

So between a Columbian blue and a royal blue, which would be better?

I might go with the lighter blue rather than the royal. As Nyx said, it's a tought choice. Also, best of luck to you!

Yea, thanks. I didn't like the lighter because I thought it was just too light. I found a video tutorial online though for making a unitard so I may try to get my own fabric.

I am copy pasting this from the classifieds section here on the forums... just to lazy to rewrite it.

I have seen people wearing body suits in their costumes and I am intersted in having somebody make one for me if that is possible. I am not looking for a full body suit, more like a longsleeved shirt type. The shirt I am thinking of is the kind that you might wear when you go surfing or swimming to prevent your skin getting burnt rather than wearing sunscreen.

The reason I want only a shirt type of suit is because I like to be an AVTR rather than a full blown Na'vi. If somebody would be interested in paining a shirt like I described that would fit me please reply here or send me a PM here on the forums.
